Ferran Torres scores debut hat-trick as PSG crush Slovan Bratislava 6-1 to launch Champions League defence

Tuesday night at Parc des Princes saw defending Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain demolish Slovan Bratislava 6-1. The victory not only eased concerns over their poor Ligue 1 form but also marked the perfect European debut for summer signing Ferran Torres, who scored a hat-trick. Ousmane Dembele opened the scoring in the 17th minute, tapping in after Nuno Mendes hit the post. He doubled the lead six minutes later with a sharp header. Dembele then turned provider for Torres, who scored from close range. Torres added two more after the break – a clinical finish from Akliouche's assist and a header from Dembele's corner. Suleiman Camara pulled one back for Slovan, but Fabian Ruiz sealed the 6-1 win with a drilled shot. This emphatic European victory gives PSG a much-needed lift after a difficult start to the Ligue 1 campaign, where they sit 13th without a win. The club now aims to climb the domestic table while continuing their Champions League title defence.
